May 5 and 6 – London Day of Leisure

May 5:  We’ve decided that we wouldn’t out to do anything today.  Hesitate to call it a day of leisure as we spent pretty much the entire working on travel things and photos.  We did walk down to a nearby neighborhood with restaurants and ate at the Lebanese restaurant there.  We often eat at this restaurant when we are in London.  They have very good hummus and falafels.

After we got back we moved down to the lobby where they had tables and electrical plugs.  The room has only room for one of us to work at a desk.  The setup in the lobby worked much better.

We had dinner at the small restaurant in the hotel.

May 6 – We were contemplating heading out to book tickets for another show.  However, it is rainy today and still pretty chilly.  Plus Mary feels like she is coming down with a cold.  Probably too much cool air while riding around London in a pedicab.

We spent most of the day down in the lobby where they had some tables near some electrical outlets.  Turned out to be a great place to set up the computers to work.  We had lunch served on the adjacent table.

In the afternoon Mary headed up to take a nap (trying to shake the cold) while Paul spent the rest of the day working in the lobby.

We had dinner in the restaurant hotel and did a little packing.  Tomorrow we check out and take the train to Reading where we will be boarding the Wessex Rose.
